Dr. Milbre Burch, is a GRAMMY-nominated spoken-word recording artist, an internationally recognized storyteller, and a published writer, playwright, and skilled emcee. In 2023, she made her ninth appearance as a featured teller at the National Storytelling Festival. In 2025, she returned as a Teller-in-Residence at the International Storytelling Center in Jonesborough, TN. She regularly coaches storytellers both in person and online. Milbre will be our EMCEE for the 2025 Old North State Storytelling Festival in Cary, NC.
